幼稚園では学期毎に避難訓練をしています。今学期は、今日、抜き打ちで行いました。
子どもたちがいろいろな場所で活動している時間に大きな地震が発生した、という想定のもとに行いました。運動場で遠藤先生とスポーツをしていた人、ホールでモンテッソーリの活動をしていた人、園庭で遊んでいた人、お部屋の中で活動していた人など、さまざまでしたが、地震発生訓練開始の放送後、それぞれのルートで外に出て、最終的には運動場に全員避難することができました。
子ども達は全員、とても落ち着いて、静かに、教師の話をよく聞きながら行動していました。
大地震はいつ起こるかわかりません。どんな時でも、安全に命を守れるように、これからも訓練を重ねていきたいと思っています。

Today, there was a surprise earthquake drill.
The children were in many different places when the big earthquake occurred was the supposed situation.
All of the children could make it from many different locations to the exercise field, using different routes.
All of the children were calm and quiet and listening to the teacher's directions.
We never know when a big earthquake will occur, but with a lot of practice and emergency drills, we can learn how to safely protect the children.

2月3日、節分です。年中・少さんが広場で豆まきゲームをしました。それぞれが作った鬼のお面をつけて、自分の心の中にいる追い出したい鬼をやっつけよう！と、玉入れゲームをしました。
「おこりんぼ鬼は飛んでいけ！」「泣き虫鬼をやっつけろ！」子ども達の元気なパワーで、悪い鬼は飛んでいってしまったことでしょう。

February 3rd was Setsubun (the day before the start of spring according to the calendar).
The youngest class and the middle class played a bean throwing game on the field.
They put on their masks and played to see who could get the most balls in the baskets.
"Hot headed demon, go away!" "Attack the crybaby demon!"
With the help of the children's powerful cries, the demons were scared away.

このところ、クラスでは節分に向けて鬼のお面を作っていましたが、今日は、年長さんがそのお面を頭につけて、運動場で一日早い豆まき(の意味を込めた?)ドッチボールをしました。
クラス対抗だったので、みんなで作戦を考えたり円陣を組んだりして、張りきって戦っていました。
During this time, in class, the students are making demon masks to prepare for setsubun (the day before the beginning of spring according to the calendar).
Today, the oldest class, put on their masks and headed for the exercise yard to play a game of bean throwing(mame maki) dodge ball, one day ahead of the actual setsubun.
All of the children were in high spirits, planning strategies and make a large ring and they all did their best.

今日は、年中・少組が一緒に ”なかよしリトミック” をやりました。
年少さんにとっては初めてやるものもありましたが、年中さんがいいお手本になって見せてくれました。隣の年少さんの手を優しくとって、教えてあげる姿もありました。年少さんも、一生懸命年中さんの様子を見て、遅れないようについていく姿が微笑ましかったです。
Today, the middle class and youngest class students joined together to do friendly eurythmics.
It was the first time for the youngest class, but the middle class provided a good example.
Many middle class students gently took the hands of the younger students and showed them what to do.
